Clip Analytics & Performance

Measure what matters. Learn how to track the success of your social clips and refine your strategy.

1. Automated Clip Analytics (Coming Soon)
  • We are developing a feature to automatically track the performance of your clips across connected social media accounts.
  • This will allow you to see views, likes, comments, and shares directly within your PodPulse dashboard.
  • You'll be able to directly compare which clips drive the most engagement and attribute that back to specific moments in your podcast.
2. Manual Tracking on Social Platforms
  • For now, you can track performance by visiting each social media platform where you've posted a clip.
  • Check the native analytics on Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube to see how many views, likes, shares, and comments each video received.
  • We recommend keeping a simple spreadsheet to log this data. Note the episode, the clip's content, and its performance metrics.
3. What to Look For
  • **Views:** A basic measure of how many people saw your clip.
  • **Engagement Rate (Likes + Comments / Views):** This is a key metric. It tells you how compelling your content is.
  • **Shares:** This shows that your content was so good, people wanted to share it with their own followers—a great indicator of virality.
  • **Comments:** Look at the substance of the comments. Are people asking questions? Tagging friends? This is a strong sign of an engaged audience.
